Convenience is the name of the game here. The mic uses two cardioid capsules in an X/Y position to capture a wide stereo sound field in front of the mic, while the flexible mount can be adjusted up to 90° for optimal positioning with respect to your audio target. A shockmount is built into the mic to reduce vibration and handling noise, and a windscreen is included to minimalize unwanted plosives and wind noise.
