The Antech -86°C Dualguard Ult Freezer is designed with two independent refrigerant systems to give your precious samples peace of mind, guaranteed at a safe and reliable temperature. If one of the compressors fails in part, the other compressor can continue to maintain the freezer compartment at -80°C.

Dualguard Ult Freezers are also designed to maximize stored sample capacity. 4 upright models with different capacities can meet most customer requirements.

Dual cooling system

Dual Cooling System Ultra Low Freezers avoid traditional cascade refrigeration techniques by using two fully independent single compressor, automatic cascade cooling systems, each capable of maintaining ultra-low temperatures.

Each refrigeration circuit includes a closed loop cold wall evaporator, which is arranged in parallel with the other. Conventional ULT freezers with single or cascaded refrigeration circuits will not work when one compressor fails.
