Real-Time Arc Optimization
The 99R always applies optimal fusion control to deliver a significant reduction in splice loss. Its real-time fusion parameter control is achieved by analyzing the fiber brightness during splicing. ACT contributes to increased consistency, quality, and a reduced risk of rework.

Detects Blade Worn Position
Because the 99R and CT60 cleaver connect wirelessly, the 99R manages the CT60's blade in real time and automatically rotates the CT60's blade when it judges it to be worn. The result is consistent, high-quality cleaves. Blade life is displayed on the 99R's screen, and the splicer will inform the user when a new blade is required.
Reduces Optical Fiber Re-setting Rate by About 80%
Compared to previous models, the 99R dramatically reduces the need to re-set fibers during the splicing process. The Auto Fiber Fit system automatically aligns optical fibers that do not sit properly in the V-groove when they are set, reducing the need to manually reset the fibers and improving overall workflow efficiency.

Fiber End Gap Correction
The 99R can detect the gap between left and right fibers and will automatically equalize the gap to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.
Automatic Clamp Power Adjustment
Fiber clamps will automatically adjust to an optimal power setting according to the fiber count — a higher fiber count results in higher clamp power to ensure fibers are firmly seated for splicing.
Automatic Wind Protector
Once fibers have been set, the wind protectors will both open and close automatically to help streamline the splicing process.
Optical Fiber Cleaver CT60
The CT60 simplifies blade management without impacting cleave quality; thanks to 28 blade positions, the CT60 blade does not require its height to be adjusted to complete the maximum amount of cleaves available from a blade.
Application Versatility
Like its predecessor, the 99R supports ribbons with up to 16 fibers. The portrait-oriented screen improves fiber visibility when working with 16-fiber ribbons. We offer interchangeable V-grooves, making the 99R highly versatile in the field for users who work with varied fiber counts and pitches.
