Reliable Handheld Dissolved Oxygen Measurement

The Hanna Instruments HI-9146 Handheld Dissolved Oxygen Meter is a rugged and portable device designed for accurate dissolved oxygen (DO) and temperature measurements in demanding environments. Its waterproof construction makes it suitable for fieldwork, while the ergonomic design ensures comfortable handling during extended use. The meter is widely used for water quality monitoring, wastewater analysis, aquaculture, and environmental testing.

Accurate Performance with Advanced Compensation

The HI-9146 delivers precise dissolved oxygen readings from 0.00 to 45.00 mg/L and up to 300% oxygen saturation, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Automatic temperature compensation ensures reliable results even when water temperatures fluctuate. The instrument also features adjustable altitude compensation up to 4,000 meters and salinity compensation up to 80 g/L for enhanced measurement accuracy.

User-Friendly Operation

Designed for convenience, the HI-9146 offers automatic calibration with one or two calibration points for quick setup before testing. A backlit LCD display allows easy viewing in low-light environments, while on-screen tutorial messages simplify operation without constantly referring to the manual. The auto-endpoint function freezes stable readings, helping users record consistent and dependable measurements.

Durable Probe and Long Battery Life

The meter is supplied with a polarographic dissolved oxygen probe featuring an integrated temperature sensor and a durable 4-meter cable for flexible field measurements. Replaceable membrane caps and electrolyte solution simplify routine maintenance and extend probe life. Powered by three AAA batteries, the instrument provides approximately 200 hours of continuous operation without the backlight, making it ideal for prolonged field use.
