Designed primarily for gaming, the 144 Hz refresh rate means the display shows a new image 144 times per second for less delay between each individual frame and therefore less input lag. Additionally, AMD FreeSync technology helps remove stuttering delays and screen tearing by dynamically adapting the display's refresh rate to variable frame rates.
HP's OMEN 25 also features an anti-glare panel, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, Twisted Nematic (TN) technology, support for 16.7 million colors using FRC technology and 72% color gamut coverage, a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 89 ppi, a 1 ms (GtG) response time, and a backlight lifespan of 30,000 hours. Using the 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display has two HDMI 1.4 input and one DisplayPort 1.2 input, as well as two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A outputs, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-B input, and one 3.5mm audio output.
