Hybrid collaboration is streamlined with the incorporation of a Meeting Ultra Standard video solution to conference spaces and boardrooms. Only one unit is enough to capture speakers, guests, and observers all at once using ultra-wide cameras on either side. Advanced hardware and software built into the camera system integrates information from both cameras, providing the foundation for effective subject tracking and panoramic footage.

Real-Time Feedback and Response

Unlike some other video conferencing cameras or meeting systems that rely on external connections and software to enable advanced automated features, this professional camera platform contains both an 8-core CPU and 4-core GPU to actively respond and adjust based on available visual information. These components power the upgraded AI-assisted subject tracking system utilized by the Meeting Ultra Standard. Kandao's AI Detection Algorithm 4.0 provide low-latency performance and digitally pans images in precise intervals of 15°. This keeps active participants centered and in-focus when they begin to speak, mimicking the familiar image of a static, mounted webcam.

While speaker tracking is an important feature when clear and legible video meetings are a priority, additional video feedback options help to establish the Meeting Ultra Standard as a comprehensive and powerful conferencing solution. Speaker Mode will display the active subject prominently while still showing thumbnails of the other participants intently listening. Alternatively, Gallery View provides colleagues equal screen space. Lastly, Global View mode forgoes distinct subject images and instead splits the screen into two images, each displaying the total view captured by each of the two 180° lenses. Manual adjustment of the conferencing view is available, as is the option to set and ignore zone to disable auto-framing in a specific area of the room.

High-Fidelity Performance

Video of team members are not only expertly and automatically framed, but also are enhanced by a variety of important capabilities boasted by the Meeting Ultra Standard. Images are captured and delivered at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, while standard HD and Full HD video output settings are available. This is especially useful when one takes into consideration the built-in SD card slot, which enables onboard recording for playback of meetings in the future for reference or for personnel that were unable to attend. Before signals are delivered to their final destinations, the camera can reduce visual noise and provide enhanced contrast with HDR settings.

One can hold off on purchasing any audio peripherals along with the Ultra Meeting Standard, as its built-in audio capture and output systems are capable of handling an entire room's worth of chatter. It sports eight omnidirectional beamforming microphones, which help to isolate the audio coming from active participants; these microphones are actively assisted by ambient noise and echo reduction algorithms. Participants located up to 18' from the device will be heard and the 10W built-in speaker ensures they can clearly hear collaborators on the other side of the call.

Built for Convenience and Compatibility

For an instant upgrade to conference spaces looking to incorporated a solution for hybrid work and global collaboration, the Meeting Ultra Standard boasts its own built-in Android-based operating system that does not require an external computer to connect to one's choice of video call platform. Plug-and-play operation is achieved by simple video output connections and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability for power and networking integration; simply add a monitor using one of two HDMI outputs for feedback, and meetings are ready to go. The camera will also interface with external computers using a USB connection, perfect for adding the Meeting Ultra Standard into already established conferencing setups. Wireless mirroring functionality allows instant access from users laptops, tablets, and other Android and iOS devices using Airplay or Miracast protocols. This camera natively communicates with popular software such as Zoom, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and many more. For proper positioning, the camera system can be placed on a tabletop or effortlessly mounted using the 1/4-20" thread on the underside of the device.

Uncompromised Data Safety

One-step log-out functionality means the Meeting Ultra Standard won't reveal sensitive information to those who next use the conference room, especially important for offices with many interdependent departments. There are also a host of features to protect important data from being accessed by unauthorized network connections. The camera does not store IP address or location in order to ensure a sense of safety in the office and prevent doxing. There is no open API provided, and the camera's Bluetooth capability can be disabled to prevent unwanted local connections. When privacy is needed, an included lens cover gives peace of mind that no unsavory characters may be watching; it also doubles as a protective cap for avoiding scratches or smudges.
