The device comes in a 1U rackmount case, has one SFP port, one SFP+ port, eight Gigabit ethernet ports, a serial console port, a USB port, and dual power supplies.

The CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ has its 2GB of DDR3 80MHz RAM soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be expanded. 100Mbps SFP support - this is our first device that supports 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules, as well as standard 1.25G SFP modules.
