PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Extremely bright LCD projector
Introducing the LCD laser projector with 16,500 ANSI lumens, a compact 23 kg (50.7 lbs) body and 42 dB quiet operation. The optimized optical engine provides 25% higher brightness than the 16,000 lm PT-MZ16KL in the same housing size, ensuring clear visibility in well-lit rooms.
Lightweight, compact and suitable for high brightness projections
We present the LCD projector with a luminosity of 16,500 lm. Improved optical efficiency delivers 25% higher brightness in the same package size as our previous 16,000lm PT-MZ16KL. Our compact and elegant design fits perfectly into large halls and hybrid learning environments. The image quality of the PT-MZ20K series remains excellently visible even in heavily lit rooms and is therefore suitable for a wide range of applications - from projection on large screens at lectures and seminars to impressive exhibition displays in museums.
Quiet operation allows viewers to focus on your presentation
The projector achieves the quietest operation in the world at 42 dB. This not only keeps participants focused, but also contributes to an improved sound environment in applications such as hybrid conferencing. If a quieter environment is required, the noise level can be further reduced to 36 dB by setting the projector to QUIET mode. This helps create an environment where everyone in the audience can focus on the presentation.
The pure white generator delivers high brightness and rich colors
The Pure White Generator developed by Panasonic Connect contributes to rich color reproduction with high brightness of up to 16,500 lm. The efficient light collection uses a multi-reflection system to minimize the noticeable energy loss of the light source in traditional systems. It achieves optimal color balance without sacrificing brightness for realistic and accurate color expression.
Dynamic Contrast NX realizes a new dimension in light-dark control
Dynamic Contrast NX, a further development of Dynamic Contrast, uses a newly developed video scene analysis circuit to detect differences in brightness and darkness more precisely than before.
Durable, energy-saving design minimizes problems
The lightweight and compact body improves charging efficiency and reduces CO 2 emissions associated with transportation. In addition, the projector has the lowest power consumption of any projector in its class in the world to reduce the resource requirements for daily operations. Laser light source and filter do not require replacement for 20,000 hours, minimizing the use of consumables and other waste. From transportation to operations and maintenance, eco-friendly design reduces labor and costs while supporting CSR, SDGs and other environmentally friendly initiatives.
Multi-laser drive motor anticipates unforeseen circumstances
The multi-laser drive machine ensures stable projection even if there are problems with the light source. The projector is equipped with multiple modules consisting of many laser diodes, and in the unlikely event that one of the elements fails, the unique Panasonic Connect failover circuit is activated, allowing projection to continue with virtually no reduction in brightness. This provides peace of mind when using the projector in situations where a drop in brightness could affect important presentations, such as large lectures and seminars.
Long-term stability with unique liquid cooling system and dustproof structure
To achieve high brightness and stable operation, we introduced a liquid cooling system originally developed for our DLP™ projection systems. This efficient design circulates cooling fluid directly to the light source modules, eliminating temperature increases associated with high brightness projection. Combined with a highly reliable original dustproof structure, the system enables stable performance even in hot, dusty environments.
Data cloning feature now compatible with USB storage
The data cloning function allows the user to copy setting and adjustment values from the main projector to the sub projectors. Data can be copied to up to 99 devices via LAN or USB. This feature reduces the time and effort required to set up multiple projectors.
Geometric adjustment corrects trapezoidal distortion and curved screens
With the built-in geometric adjustment, various distortions on the screen can be corrected remotely. In addition to trapezoidal distortion caused by slanted projection, curved screen correction corrects distortion caused by projection onto curved surfaces. With corner correction, the user can adjust four corners of the screen, e.g. E.g. top right and bottom right, specify for correction. Screen proportions can be maintained and corrections saved as data.
Free Grid enables precise correction of local distortions
In addition to the integrated geometric adjustment function, Free Grid enables pinpoint correction of local distortions within the screen. Grids between 2x2 and 17x17 lines can be selected to allow point-by-point correction or batch correction by specifying vertical and horizontal lines. The correction data is retained even after changing the number of grids or points, allowing a smooth transition from basic correction to detailed correction. This handy feature allows customization of specific screens, such as: B. irregular or uneven wall surfaces, with the remote control.
Black level correction to adapt to the shape of the screen
Traditional black level correction only specifies the width and angle of the black edge for correction, making edge blending on curved screens difficult. To solve this problem, the PT-MZ20K series is equipped with a function that can adjust the shape of the black borders to the screen shape. With up to 17 points, flexible black level correction is possible even on curved screens, improving cohesion in multi-screen applications.
Compatible with ultra-short throw zoom lens for space-saving installation
The ET-EMU100 ultra-short throw zoom lens has a throw ratio of 0.330-0.353:1 and a screen size range of 100-400 inches, enabling large-screen projection even from tight installation spaces. Since there is no gap (offset area) between the ceiling and the screen, the ET-EMU100 eliminates the need for adjustment and expands the range of visual expression by supporting the zoom function despite its ultra-short focus.
Supports 4K signal input
Uncompressed 4K/60p input signals are supported via HDMI ® or DIGITAL LINK. Since no external devices such as converters are required, 4K signals can be processed smoothly. This eliminates the need for re-encoding when using the projector with other 4K compatible devices, making projection with 4K signals easy and efficient.
