The 407323 toner can produce up to 3,000 pages before it needs replacing, making it ideal of you don't print constantly or in large vlolumes The toner is part of the printer which holds the powder, this is then turned into the print on the page. When it is empty and it needs replacing you can easily replace it by opening the front cover of the printer and removing the large black cartridge. This is the drum with the cartridge inside it. Push down the lever on the right-hand side to release the toner from the drum, you can then lift it out. The new toner slots into its place and lifting up the lever locks it in. It can then be put back in the printer.
