The built-in Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) on MDC Series displays eliminates the need for additional PCs or media players to generate and control local content. You can create and display custom messaging with just a few clicks.

The powerful SSSP has a dual-core CPU with 1GB of memory, 4GB of storage, a high-performing video processor and Samsung MagicInfo™ Premium S software. You can create and save messages through an easy-to-use interface, with free signage templates and simple tools for fast content creation. The included Samsung MagicInfo™ Premium S Player handles content playback for video walls up to 4 x 4 and scheduling of a wide range of content and file types.

Create content in portrait or landscape mode—and then rotate it without having to rework on the content. Samsung displays support a pivot and Image Rotation function that display content vertically or horizontally, without ratio distortion. Conveniently rotate your content with two display options: original ratio and full ratio.

Keep your message playing with automatic source switching

The Auto Source Switching feature of MDC Series displays maintains virtually constant and seamless content display. This feature automatically changes the display from one content source to another when the original source fails. Source recovery enables a content source to be used as a backup for ongoing play when another source is unavailable. This flexibility ensures that your business content remains available when you need it.

Magic Clone

Easily apply consistent settings to displays in multiple locations with Samsung Magic Clone, without the cumbersome efforts to set up displays one by one. Programme one display for settings such as volume, brightness and more. After the first display has been updated, save the settings onto a USB or external drive. Then simply plug the USB or external drive into new displays to copy options from one display to others.

Remote control

Remotely controlling multiple displays become easier on Samsung displays. The displays can be simultaneously controlled with RS-232C for displays in proximity or with RJ-45 and the built-in LAN card for displays located over a long distance. Users can control the displays using Samsung’s Multi Display Control (MDC) programme or any other control programme that is supported by protocol.
