The USBIAC2-7 cable draws its power from the server and has Keep Alive functionality that will keep your server working properly with or without connectivity to the Avocent KVM switch or serial console switch. The USBIAC2-7 supports USB 2 peripheral devices (Virtual media & Smart card/CAC) on Avocent Mergepoint KVM switches.
