Its heavy weight makes it very shock absorbent and also holds the microphone firmly in place. Its slim and elegant 19.69" (50cm) gooseneck holds a professional condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern (120°). This professional microphone is specially designed for inexperienced speakers who talk into the microphone from widely varying angles.

The CGN521 STS features a rugged switch (more than 25,000 switching cycles), which is programmable for various functions such as push-to-talk, push-to-mute, push on/off, low cut on/off, etc. The status of the microphone is displayed by an LED square. For audio output, this device features a gold-plated 3-pin XLR socket.
