The CW9164I-B combines 2x2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz with 4x4 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz and 6 GHz. Cisco's Catalyst 9164 platform is designed for high-performance deployments and provides an aggregate PHY data rate of up to approximately 7.49 Gbps under supported configurations.

High-Speed Wired Connectivity

A built-in 100M/1000M/2.5G Multigigabit Ethernet interface provides the wired connection between the access point and the network infrastructure. The 2.5G interface helps provide suitable backhaul capacity for high-throughput Wi-Fi 6E deployments.

The access point also provides an RJ-45 management console and a USB 2.0 Type-A interface. The USB interface supports up to 4.5W under supported power configurations.
