High-Speed Wired Connectivity

A built-in 100M/1000M/2.5G Multigigabit Ethernet RJ-45 interface provides the wired network connection to the access point. The 2.5G interface helps provide sufficient backhaul capacity for high-throughput Wi-Fi 6E deployments.

The CW9164I-E also includes an RJ-45 management console port and a USB 2.0 interface capable of providing up to 4.5W under the supported power configuration.

Integrated Antenna and Wireless Radios

The access point uses integrated internal antennas designed for indoor enterprise deployments. Cisco specifies peak antenna gains of 3 dBi at 2.4 GHz, 5 dBi at 5 GHz and 4 dBi at 6 GHz.
