Cisco Firepower 2130 NGFW Overview
The Cisco FPR2130-NGFW-K9 is a Cisco Firepower 2130 Next-Generation Firewall appliance designed for enterprise networks, data centers, internet-edge deployments and high-performance network security environments.
The appliance combines firewall security, Application Visibility and Control (AVC), intrusion prevention, VPN connectivity and centralized security management capabilities in a compact 1RU rack-mount chassis.
Cisco specifies up to 5.4 Gbps Firewall + AVC throughput, 5.4 Gbps Firewall + AVC + IPS throughput and 5.4 Gbps IPS throughput for the Firepower 2130.
The FPR2130 provides 12 fixed 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 interfaces and 4 fixed 1/10-Gbps SFP+ interfaces. It also includes one network-module bay for additional supported interface expansion.
