Product Overview
The Cisco Meraki MX450-HW is an enterprise Security and SD-WAN appliance designed for large campus deployments, distributed enterprise networks and large VPN concentration environments. It combines advanced firewall services, SD-WAN capabilities, VPN connectivity, traffic management and centralized cloud administration in a 1U rack-mount platform.
The MX450 provides two dedicated 10G SFP+ WAN interfaces and high-density LAN connectivity consisting of eight 10G SFP+, eight 1G SFP and eight 1G RJ45 ports. This combination allows organizations to connect high-speed uplinks, aggregation networks and conventional Gigabit Ethernet devices through a single enterprise security platform.
