Ceiling Loudspeaker Assembly for Life Safety Applications
The pair of JBL Control 26CT-LS Professional Ceiling Loudspeakers for Life/Safety Applications is a set of speaker assemblies designed specifically for use in fire alarm and/or emergency communication systems. The 26TCTS is built on the same platform as JBL's Control 26C and 26CT ceiling loudspeakers and is UL 1480 UUMW listed for safety systems.
The 150-watt continuous program power handling, 2-way coaxially mounted Control 26CT-LS loudspeaker is a compact ceiling speaker providing suitable performance in background or foreground music sound systems. The Control 26CT-LS is appropriate for use in a wide variety of applications from casinos and hotels to upscale restaurants, convention halls, and themed locations.
The 6.5" woofer features a polyurethane-coated cone and pure butyl-rubber surround for long life, even in high-humidity environments. An aluminum voice coil former provides extra cooling for greater long-term power handling. The coaxially mounted 0.75" titanium-coated tweeter provides crisp, clear highs. Diffraction loading of the tweeter provides wide, even coverage of the listening area.
