The Eaton 5E2200UI is a robust Line‑Interactive UPS designed to deliver reliable power protection and ride‑through capability for critical equipment in small office, home office, and light‑IT environments. With a 2200 VA / 1200 W capacity, this UPS supports essential systems such as desktops, networking gear, POS terminals, routers, and entry‑level servers, reducing the risk of data loss and hardware damage during mains disturbances and outages. Its compact tower form factor is engineered for easy placement without consuming excessive space.

Employing Line‑Interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), the Eaton 5E2200UI conditions incoming voltage fluctuations and corrects under‑ or overvoltage conditions without switching to battery for minor disturbances, thus conserving battery life and improving overall efficiency. It delivers a nominal 230 V output (also configurable to 220 V or 240 V) through six IEC C13 output receptacles, enabling multiple devices to be powered and protected simultaneously. The UPS accepts input power via a standard IEC C14 inlet, supporting a broad input range of 140–300 V, which enhances uptime under unstable mains conditions.

The 5E2200UI integrates two sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) batteries rated at 12 V / 9 Ah, which provide essential backup power during mains outages and enable smooth shutdown of connected equipment. Built‑in battery management features include automatic self‑tests, deep‑discharge protection, and cold‑start capability, allowing the UPS to power connected loads even when utility power is unavailable. While the unit does not support external battery expansion modules, its internal battery configuration delivers practical runtime suitable for typical SOHO use cases.

Measuring approximately 330 × 133 × 180 mm (depth × width × height) and weighing around 9.8 kg, the 5E2200UI combines a compact footprint with sturdy construction for tower deployments. It operates effectively in ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C with relative humidity up to 90 % non‑condensing. The unit maintains high efficiency (up to about 95 % at full load) to minimise wasted energy during normal operation.
