The Eaton 9E3000I is a 3000 VA / 2400 W online double‑conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered to deliver high‑quality, uninterrupted power for servers, network infrastructure, storage systems, and other essential electronics in environments with demanding power continuity needs. As part of Eaton’s 9E UPS family, this unit continuously conditions incoming power and regenerates output to provide a stable, clean sine‑wave output—critical for equipment sensitive to power fluctuations and outages.

Power Performance & Electrical Characteristics

The 9E3000I delivers 3000 VA apparent power and 2400 W real power output with a 0.8 output power factor, enabling it to support higher real loads relative to its VA rating. The UPS maintains a tight output voltage regulation of ± 2 % over a wide range of line conditions and supplies a pure sine wave output ideal for sensitive electronics.  Input power handling is equally versatile: the UPS accepts standard 208/220/230/240 V mains, with a wide input voltage range of 176–300 V (100–300 V with derating) and an input power factor of greater than 0.99, enhancing efficiency and reducing stress on upstream circuitry.

Battery System & Runtime

The Eaton 9E3000I uses six sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) batteries with automatic battery testing and deep‑discharge protection for enhanced safety and longevity. Batteries are user-replaceable, and the UPS supports extended battery modules (EBMs) for significantly longer runtime during extended outages. Typical backup times vary with load; at full rated load, the UPS can provide several minutes of runtime sufficient to save data and initiate orderly shutdown procedures, while additional EBMs can extend this into longer bridging periods when required.
